Exploring Haunted Denver Through a Psychic Lens: Dark Side of Denver Tours

Every year, I love visiting haunted or historic places, walking the space, and sharing what I intuitively pick up along the way. There is something powerful about being physically present in a location, letting the history speak for itself, and noticing what rises when you slow down enough to listen.

This year, I stayed close to home and explored my own city, Denver. I joined a walking tour with Dark Side of Denver Ghost Tours, moving through some of Denver’s most historic and reportedly haunted locations. As a psychic medium, I was curious what it would feel like to tune in while in a group setting and while actively walking the city rather than doing a formal investigation.

Ghost tours are becoming increasingly monopolized, and it can be hard to tell which ones are thoughtfully researched versus copied and pasted from quick internet searches. What I genuinely appreciate about this tour grup is that they have been around for a long time, they are independently run, and they have put years into real research and investigation! They also have established relationships that allow them access to locations many other tours cannot enter. Experiences like this are a good reminder that you do not have to approach haunted or historic locations with fear or sensationalism. There is value in curiosity, respect for history, and staying grounded while remaining open to what you might notice or feel.
