From Film School to Denver Psychic: My Journey to Becoming Psychic Lauryn

When Voyage Denver invited me to share my story, it gave me the opportunity to reflect on the unexpected path that led me to become a Denver psychic, medium, astrologer, and Psychic Development Coach. My career didn't begin in the spiritual world. It started in film school, where a documentary project sparked a curiosity that eventually became my life's work.

My Unexpected Beginning

Before I ever read for clients professionally, I was studying Film & Television Production. I loved storytelling, documentaries, and understanding how people experience the world.

Ironically, it was filmmaking that eventually led me into the metaphysical community.

While researching ideas for a documentary, I began interviewing psychics, visiting local metaphysical shops, attending psychic fairs, and asking countless questions. What started as curiosity slowly became something much more personal.

The more I learned, the more I realized there was a structured way to develop intuition.

Learning Instead of Assuming

One of the biggest misconceptions about psychic ability is that you're either born with it or you're not. I don't believe that's true.

I believe intuition is a skill that can be developed, much like learning a language or strengthening a muscle. That's why I pursued formal training through the Aspen Program for Psychic Development and continued studying mediumship, medical intuition, animal communication, Reiki, and other healing modalities.

Years of practice, mentorship, and reading hundreds of people helped me realize something important:

Psychic ability becomes far more reliable when it's practiced ethically, consistently, and with healthy skepticism.

That philosophy still shapes everything I teach today.

Building a Business Around Psychic Development

Eventually my side passion became my full-time career.

Today I work with clients in Denver and around the world through psychic readings, mediumship sessions, astrology consultations, animal communication, online courses, YouTube videos, and coaching programs designed to help others develop their own intuition.

One of my greatest passions isn't just giving readings.

It's teaching people to trust themselves.

Watching someone discover that they can receive intuitive information on their own is just as rewarding as delivering a meaningful reading.

Being Part of Denver Colorado's Psychic Community

Living in Colorado has introduced me to an incredible community of curious, open-minded people.

I've been fortunate to participate in local psychic fairs, teach classes, collaborate with other practitioners, and connect with people who are simply looking for guidance, healing, or a deeper understanding of themselves.
