The 4 Week Goddess Challenge!

As I was meditating one evening, my guides proposed for me to create this exercise for myself (and you)! And I call it, the 4 Week Goddess Challenge!

Every week, we are going to work with one of four goddesses. I've been working on improving my health, finances, sexual confidence, and overall feminine power. As I was meditating on what I could do, Isis, Abundantia, and Sige came to me and told me to spend a week with each of them. The goal is to talk to, meditate with, and just get to know each goddess and how their energy differs. It's about building a relationship, so there's no right or wrong way to do this! If you have a question about which path to take, ask the goddess you are working with that week. If you need assistance on a big project, ask the goddess for that week! If you Hosted the Archangels with me a while back, this will be pretty familiar!

Instructions

Watch my original Periscope broadcast on how to get started with each goddess. I'm providing the first 3 for us and the last goddess will introduce herself to you (see below). On the first day of each new goddess, welcome them in with a short prayer. "Isis, I welcome you in to guide me this week. Show me how to grow and honor our relationship." Find something to represent that goddess and keep it around the house for that week as a visual reminder. An example might be a candle, flower, photo, crystal or piece of jewelry that you officially make as your "Isis" candle. From then on, whenever you use that object, it should remind you of that goddess. Read the descriptions of the goddesses below for each week, but don't get too stuck to them. Isis told me she was going to help with my health and eating habits but that's not on the card! Every Thursday, I will do a check in on Periscope to share my experiences with each goddess (click the video next to each date to watch the replay).

The Goddesses

Week 1 (April 6th): Isis

This Egyptian high priestess moon goddess is regarded as one of the most important ancient deities because of her many functions and her vivid history. She is simultaneously motherly and businesslike, feminine and ultra strong. Isis brought her murdered husband, Osiris, back to life., and they conceived their beloved son, Horus (the falcon headed pharaoh). unfortunately, Osiris was murdered beyond repair after the conception and Isis devoted her attention to raising Horus. Isis also convinced the sun god, Ra, to tell her his secret name s that contained vibrational tones that created instant manifestations. Thus, Isis is also known as a goddess of Divine magic and alchemy. You can call upon her for assistance in many areas, including help with past life memories.

Message from Isis: "Your roots upon this planet are strong and deep, and some of the roots have anchored you in past memories from faraway times. These roots have anchored you so deeply, in fact, that you are paralyzed when it comes to moving forward. I have called your attention to this condition so that you may unearth and uproot past memories. Sometimes you bury those memories to shield yourself from psychic pain or embarrassment, so you will not remember those awkward moments when life tested you to the maximum. Reveal those lessons to yourself now, strong sorceress, and move forward with the confidence that you have sage wisdom behind you.”

Week 2 (April 13th): Abundantia (pronounced ah-bun-DON-she-uh)

Abundantia is a beautiful Roman and Norse goddess of prosperity, success, and abundance who is said to bring good fortune and financial windfalls to all who call upon her. She carries a cornucopia of golden coins, which trail behind her wherever she goes. One sign that she is with you is that you will find lots of spare change in unlikely locations. And rest assured that Abundantia brings more than pocket-money to those who call upon her. She bestows all kinds of prosperity, including increased amounts of time, ideas, and other forms of support.

Message from Abundantia: "Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are very powerful, and I am here to support your growing power. It is right for you to receive this help, as we function as a team. I have heard your prayers, worries, and affirmations. I am pouring my cornucopia of prosperity upon you now, so expect unforeseen windfalls and gifts. Notice the new ideas, feelings, and visions within you. This guidance gives you clear direction about your actions to take in conjunction with my assistance. Together, we are unstoppable!"

Week 3 (April 20th): Sige (pronounced Sig or Seej) Video

The Gnostic goddess Sige is considered to be that great silence or void from which all creation sprang. Sige reminds us that worlds create duality, and that in silence, we find our true origin and self. Quiet is omnipresent power that gives birth to wisdom, just as the Gnostics hold that Sige is the mother of Sophia, the goddess of wisdom. Sige teaches that our roots are in the silent void of the universe, and that it is important for us to reconnect with silence regularly.

Message from Sige: “Shhh, dearest one. Quiet your mind. Breathe and let go of words, worry, and plans. Go into that space of silence deep within you, that vortex of peace where the world does not enter. Now is the time to retreat in silence and spend time alone. I will lovingly help you to rejuvenate and recenter yourself. Do not try to make any decisions now. Just allow your mind to be at rest. You will know soon enough when it is time to take cation. But for now, quiet your mind. Rest.”

Week 4 (April 27th): ???

The last goddess should come to you a few days before the 4th week. Pay attention to signs, songs on the radio, names on facebook, or anything else in your day to day life. If you aren't sure who it is, try meditating and asking who you should work with next. If you still aren't sure, check out a library book on goddesses and flip to a page after asking who you should work with. If you'd rather work with the same goddess I did during my 4th week, check out the next section.

Lauryn's Week 4: Aeracura (pronounced Air-uh-CURE-uh)

Aeracura is a Celtic and Germanic goddess who multitasks as an Earth Mother deity, a fairy queen, and also a bridge between earthly life and the hereafter. She helps us put our goals and challenges into perspective so that we don’t needlessly stress ourselves. Call upon her for emergency money or help in manifesting supply. She’s especially fond of assisting artists and inventors.

Message from Aeracura: “In many ways, you are like a flower bud who is ripe and ready to open and grow. Don’t try to rush this process, as it’s part of your beautiful path. Enjoy learning new knowledge and skills. Take your time to gather new ideas. Nurture your body with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, water, and healthful food. Soon enough, you’ll get the unmistakable signal that it’s time to put your learning into action. Spend time among flowers, or work with flower essences and oils to support your growth process.”

You can keep doing this every month if you want! Work with a different guide, goddess, angel or ascended master!
